Appears cumbersome. Travelers wan to fly something that "looks right". The plan appears disproportionately large to the engines, etc. Not a technical comment as I know the engines have plenty of thrust. However, your Auntie might want to get on something that looks like it cannot fly.

I enjoyed seeing the largest airplane in the world because I have flown all the other commercial airliners of jumbo class. The colors of the airliner contrasted with the light of day and the background made the airplane stand out nicely.

I just lov this plane & wanted to fly with it

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun March 7, 2010:
I have flown on the A380 last year from Singapore to London and I have to say it was the most amazing experience. We had 120mph head winds (that would be blowing a 747 all over the sky) and there were no turbulence for the whole 14 hours of the flight. It felt like we were still on the tarmac when we were cruising at 39,000ft! The technology and in flight entertainment was fantastic and the cabin felt large and very spacious. In economy I could stretch my legs out fully under the seat in front of me and there was also enough room for me to turn on my side to sleep! (I am 6 feet tall). When I'm travelling long haul in the future, the ONLY plane I want to fly on is the A380.

A huge aircraft like the A380, about to land, it was the distance between the aircraft and the runway that made it great, this is only a matter of seconds to get an opportunity like this, and shoot.

A visitor from - posted Sun November 19, 2006:
Clean and crisp, in the air but caught in the anticpation of landing. This ia a very sexy shot of an airliner!

A visitor from United States posted Thu November 9, 2006:
Excellent background setting, allowing for a clear full view of the entire aircraft.

A visitor from United States posted Tue November 7, 2006:
Background is very Emirates-ish.
Gray sky works well behind (ubiquitous) all-white aircraft.
Tail logo is a nice off-center punch of color.
Wheels look a bit ragtag, but better that than gear-up, I suppose.

A visitor from Sweden posted Sun October 22, 2006:

A visitor from Uruguay posted Fri October 6, 2006:
The photo is very good as it shows clearly all features of the plane. It would be nice if there was a way to compare its size to another plane.

A visitor from Canada posted Mon October 2, 2006:
Congratulations to the photographer, for an outstanding picture. The image is sharp and the colours are realistic. The photographer shot this picture from a very good angle; he managed to give a good profile of the aircraft.

A visitor from United States posted Wed September 13, 2006:
This photo captures all the basic physical features of the aircraft, including the landing gear in full lowered position. it is an excellent in-flight shot.

A visitor from Canada posted Tue September 5, 2006:
The reflection of the advancement of technological flight is captured in the photo as the A380 behemoth is being safely guided down to terra firma by the latest in flight advancements in the commercial passenger industry. The accomplishments that have been achieved with the completion of this tehno wonder is a unifying accomplishment by the co-operation of those who took part in the creation of this wonder. When looking at the windows of the flight area, ones' mind is captured by the fact that a human being is at the controls of this grand machine.
