 A visitor from United States posted Fri February 3, 2006:Apart from the fact that the photographic quality is high, contrast, colour balance, exposure etc, as the only remaining Valiant and as the aircraft which dropped the UK's test thermonuclear weapons, it is a very important item of aviation history. The Valiant was an elegant, sleek aircraft, unfortunately doomed to a shorter lifespan than might have been due to the use of an essentially experimental material for the main wingspars, but probably gave the country the most value of any of the 3 v-bombers.
