A visitor from Switzerland posted Mon May 26, 2008:Remember: if you break it that's 200 million dollars out of your pocket. But don't let that discourage you! :D:D
A visitor from United States posted Mon December 17, 2007:Tip Toeing onto the runway nice shot
A visitor from Jamaica posted Tue November 27, 2007:I like this shot because it looks like a lot of fun to feel the jet land like this. I remember seeing BA 772 landing like this in Montego Bay, Ja many times on a Sunday afternoon, although it has stopped for a few yrs now. Anyway, it's still a very nice shot.
A visitor from United States posted Wed October 31, 2007:The wind doesn't even seem strong looking at the orange flag, however, this T7 looks like it's landing in gale force wind! And perfect timing here, the landing gear is just touching down, there's a tiny bit of smoke just behind the right main gear! 5 *****!
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon August 13, 2007:Wayhey! That looks fun! It's a shame that the bouciest landing are the most fun, but will probably cause most damage to the aircraft!
A visitor from United States posted Fri February 23, 2007:Great timing
A visitor from United States posted Mon December 25, 2006:Looks like you are standing right next to the runway. Well done.
A visitor from United States posted Mon December 25, 2006:Crazy Landing. Just Crazy. And a great photograph too!
A visitor from United States posted Sat December 16, 2006:Look at the engine fans in motion! Brilliant.
A visitor from United States posted Wed October 4, 2006:Awsome photo no fakes truly best photo 5 stars on the timing and touchdown
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun October 1, 2006:Wow, what a shot, that must have been a fun landing! Credit to the pilots and the photographer!
A visitor from United States posted Tue September 19, 2006:This certainly shows the crosswind landing technique!!!!!!!!!!!!
A visitor from United States posted Mon September 4, 2006:Great shot! I have always been a great lover of the Triple Seven. Note how high the left wing is there!
A visitor from Canada posted Sun August 20, 2006:All respect to pilot who had done this job and we wont forget the 777 does the job perfectly
A visitor from Serbia And Montenegro posted Thu August 17, 2006:Nice shot!probably strong crosswind component nice landing for speed bird crew!!!
A visitor from Singapore posted Fri August 4, 2006:The 777 autoland system lands it like this in a XWIND. U guys can rudder it out after touch down, if u feel like it during manual ldgs. cheers !
A visitor from India posted Fri August 4, 2006:Great timing
A visitor from United States posted Wed June 28, 2006:I've always loved BA! And these 777s are awesome. Excellent photograph! Reminds me of how I land on FS!
A visitor from United States posted Mon June 26, 2006:It really looks like it's stepping onto the runway, nice shot! I wonder what the pilot was doing trying to bank it out of the X-wind, I would have just landed it in a crab and rudderred it out, it's the easiest and safest thing to do.
A visitor from Luxembourg posted Fri June 16, 2006:Yeah, was such a bank really necessary? the Xwind don't look so terrible for such an aircraft...windshear I suppose... maybe the PF tried to demonstrate something.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun June 11, 2006:What a situation.I love the 777 and especially in BA coulors!!!!
A visitor from Italy posted Fri June 9, 2006:British humour...
A visitor from - posted Tue June 6, 2006:I am still amazed there aren't more accidents or damaged landing gear. good job to photog. and pilots.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu May 25, 2006:This is quite amazing for a 777-236 to land like that. What a good shot for such a bumpy landing.
A visitor from United States posted Fri April 21, 2006:Glad I'm not on board!! Rough landing! Ouch!
A visitor from Finland posted Thu April 20, 2006:Right step 1, 2,left step 3,4. Would you danse with me, baby? Have to love these not so usual landings.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed April 12, 2006:This is a textbook crosswind landing, good job by the pilots, I doubt the passengers realised how hard the crew were working, good job guys.
A visitor from Malaysia posted Mon April 10, 2006:My god, what a scary touchdown! Perhaps the passengers will be so scared about it...
A visitor from United States posted Mon March 27, 2006:Somehow I think the pilot overcorrected for the crosswind....
A visitor from Ireland posted Fri March 24, 2006:Oh dear, oh dear.....scary for the passengers!! Great for the viewers!
A visitor from United States posted Mon March 20, 2006:There are a lot of things that could have made the aircraft and pilot react the way they did. One such example is that there could have been windshear. You have to remember that there are a lot of definitions to the word wind shear. They could have had a temperature inversion (wind shear), heavy winds aloft down to what looks like a 10 kt xwind(wind shear), or perhaps the wind changed directions right at that moment. Great shot.
A visitor from Brazil posted Fri March 17, 2006:What a correct landing!! We can see the windsock showing a crosswind at the moment! Maybe a difficult landing...! The pilots did good job.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu March 9, 2006:Fantastic shot. How NOT to land a triple seven.
A visitor from Netherlands posted Wed March 8, 2006:Wow factor
A visitor from United States posted Mon March 6, 2006:Nice shot... By looking at the windstock, it looks like the pilots over corrected themselves... Into the the wind???? or just a bad landing.
A visitor from United States posted Sun March 5, 2006:That was a good shot. To think I was on a plane like that.
A visitor from Netherlands posted Sat March 4, 2006:Also with severe x-wind you can make really soft landings when even the passengers can't tell when you touched down. This could very well be one of these examples. Spotters: don't panic with these pictures!
A visitor from United States posted Sat March 4, 2006:I like this photo because it shows it trying to land in a crosswind that was unexpected and trying correct the aircraft
A visitor from Finland posted Thu March 2, 2006:Nice Photo! Not exactly the best landing, No matter what landing method you use.
A visitor from Poland posted Wed March 1, 2006:Great foto !
A visitor from United States posted Mon February 27, 2006:He said "Not your typical..." Anyhoos, great shot Ryan
A visitor from United States posted Sat February 25, 2006:You call this typical!?!!?
A visitor from France posted Thu February 16, 2006:Wow, very nice picture ... Hey! Me too i'd like to be able to show off like this 777 pilot lol !
A visitor from Belize posted Thu February 16, 2006:Explain how x-wind afect aircraft, not the orange bag on the scene.
A visitor from Finland posted Mon February 13, 2006:Awesome shot!!!
A visitor from Netherlands posted Sun February 12, 2006:Nice picture!
A visitor from United States posted Sat February 11, 2006:Great x-wind landing! Right mains, then left mains, Reversers! Textbook landing. Definitely fun for the pilots!
A visitor from Germany posted Sat February 11, 2006:Very nice shot!
A visitor from United States posted Sat February 11, 2006:It take a pilot to do that
A visitor from United States posted Sat February 11, 2006:Good X-wind landing, The people who say this is a scary landing or a bad landing are idiots. This palce is littered with them
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri February 10, 2006:Could someone explain this method of cross wind landing, looks rather tricky
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri February 10, 2006:Procedural landing, great job in capturing it!
A visitor from Netherlands posted Fri February 10, 2006:Great shot Ryan. Hope to catch BA @ DFW later this year.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri February 10, 2006:Well, I reckon that is quite an aggressive technique - the windsock isn't showing much of a crosswind and they could have got away with a lot less "wing down" to keep it under control!
A visitor from Canada posted Fri February 10, 2006:Cross wind? Passengers must have felt this one! Great shot at the right momemnt!
A visitor from Portugal posted Fri February 10, 2006:On the A320, you would get a "Bank, Bank!" warning and probably smack the engine on the runway!
A visitor from New Zealand posted Fri February 10, 2006:Great shot mate! So great, that i came back the next day to have another look! Well done
A visitor from United States posted Fri February 10, 2006:Very nice Ryan. Makes me wish I had been out there too! Great detail. Joe

A visitor from United States posted Fri February 10, 2006:Very good, you may need to zoom in a bit but you can actually see the smoke. Very good quality. It'd be neat to have a video of how that turned out!
A visitor from United States posted Fri February 10, 2006:Great example of a crosswind landing, with the windsock easily visible to see the crosswind they were fighting. Wish my landings looked like this one in the little piper warrior III i fly in.
A visitor from Canada posted Thu February 9, 2006:I think that the controller said to the British F/O: "remember, in America, we're driving at the right!"
A visitor from United States posted Thu February 9, 2006:Awesome....
A visitor from United States posted Thu February 9, 2006:Must have been a 'fun' landing from the passengers perspective. But he got it down safely!
A visitor from New Zealand posted Thu February 9, 2006:Great shot! - Appears to be a text book x/w landing!
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu February 9, 2006:Very Good shot!!!!
A visitor from Canada posted Thu February 9, 2006:Impressive shot! Super sharp, and the composition turned out great! Good job!
A visitor from United States posted Thu February 9, 2006:From the windsock it looks like the crosswind is less than 5 knots. Must be a student pilot !
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu February 9, 2006:Brilliantly captured during transition from crab to wing down. The perfect crosswind landing!
A visitor from France posted Thu February 9, 2006:One sided One sided landing
A visitor from United States posted Thu February 9, 2006:Wierd how t5he windsock is showing the wind blowing INTO the lean...was it overcompensation? or a momentary lapse in wind speed?
A visitor from Denmark posted Thu February 9, 2006:What a landing! I love these planes
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu February 9, 2006:This is a rare sight for a British airways

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu February 9, 2006:Yeee haaa!
A visitor from Singapore posted Thu February 9, 2006:Look Ma, right landing gear first!
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu February 9, 2006:Great photo!!! Wonderful timing to get such a beauty.
A visitor from Germany posted Thu February 9, 2006:Judging by the wind sock, it seems to be a case of overcorrecting the crosswind. Great shot of a large plane twisting itself to a standstill.
A visitor from Brazil posted Thu February 9, 2006:Spectacular!!
A visitor from Switzerland posted Thu February 9, 2006:Love that one bro....it really look`s like taking a step up...

A visitor from Sweden posted Thu February 9, 2006:Sweet!!!!!!!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu February 9, 2006:Typical crosswind landing - wing down method, look at the wind sock. Great pic!

A visitor from United States posted Thu February 9, 2006:Great shot! I bet that Captain wishes it wasn't on here though!!! =0
A visitor from United States posted Wed February 8, 2006:Uh oh!! Great shot!!
