Sat in the jumpseat behind the Captain on a flight. Its like looking out a picture window at 30,000 feet. My favourite plane

It is a pleasure to see these beautiful planes still flying. L-1011 is like a classy lady. Beautuful aircraft!!! Great photo

Great Shot Sam! I guess the captain had the audio on the comm radios switched to "speaker"....he's not wearing any headset and he's doing the flying! AQ in NYC

That’s what a proper cockpit looks like lots of proper old instruments and no computer screens. I just love these old Tri-Star’s.

Very nice shot. I'd give anything to ride in the cockpit of a Tristar.

Nice. The cabin is quite spacious having been a passenger in the rear jumpseat on landing!

I love this shot. Firstly a nice picture of a classic airliner and secondly the 'mood' captures the concentration and attention present in the cockpit in those critical moments before touchdown. You can almost feel the sensitive adjustments the captain is making to the throttles as he eases the big plane down.

Fantastic photo! You can see a lot of things, because there are some many and big windows! Between the runways you can see the famous golf course!
