Are those 767-200ER's?

A visitor from - posted Fri July 17, 2009:
Great picture! The boneyard is so empty compared to today. Hopefully pictures like this will soon replace pictures of packed lands of parked airplanes.

A visitor from Argentina posted Tue May 5, 2009:
It's sad to see all those planes stuck and unoperative

A visitor from United States posted Wed July 4, 2007:
You got that right... very sad. What is that makes us sad about seeing these machines parked in dry parking lots. Just nuts and bolts wires and metal... But still tough to see.

A visitor from United States posted Tue August 15, 2006:
Very Sad, just remember that most of them will be part of other planes.

A visitor from Canada posted Thu April 20, 2006:
Great shot! AC 767s are staying and are in pax config.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed April 19, 2006:
Interesting picture! I like to see how these old planes are stored and protected againsts the elements. I guess the desert environment is pretty good to machines and only the cockpits windows and engines needs to be covered up! And yes I agree....these are just *machines* but my cousin gets emotional over cars (another peice of metal on four bits of round rubber!) so I guess I can understand hee hee hee!

A visitor from Philippines posted Wed April 19, 2006:
It's sad to see this kind of picture, I myself was sadden. But that is life we have to move on for the better & economical planes. How I wish I could go to that dessert and feel the planes even for the last time.

Something different, than flying planes.

Yes, very sad....

I was just there standing outside the perimeter fence last week. Very cool to see this here now. Anyone know if those (AC?) 767's are coming or going? And the DC9's?

A visitor from Germany posted Tue April 18, 2006:
Well guys, let's be honest, it's nothing more but a bunch of sheetmetal pressed into aerodynamic shapes, put in a relatively dry place to prevent premature corrosion. dry up your tears, will ya!

A visitor from Mexico posted Tue April 18, 2006:
Hope they can get a new owner soon. Those 767-200s look in very good condition and airworthy. What a sad view really. T.B.

A visitor from Canada posted Tue April 18, 2006:
Wouldn't those Air Canada 767-200s make good freighter converts???! Great shot.

A visitor from Singapore posted Tue April 18, 2006:
What will happen to the engines? Reminds me of the dummy planes they use for fire drill exercise.

Nice photo Linze!
I see that old C-GCPN green zipper is still there.
