F-WWDD (cn 004) Yes, an A380 is bigger than a B777-200! Also note the towtug that is specially designed to tow the A380 [Nikon D200]

A visitor from Japan posted Sun August 27, 2006:
I wish Philippine Airlines had one of those

A visitor from Australia posted Sat July 1, 2006:
Good shot, and good size, you can really tell its big next to the plane behind it (Boeing 777?)

A visitor from Canada posted Sat June 17, 2006:
Greaat photo! A lot of people say the A380 is ugly, but in my opinion it is beautiful. The 747 was quite an awkward looking bird when it first came out but now everyone is used to it and think its a classic. Well, soon enough the A 380 will be classic too!

A visitor from Mexico posted Tue June 6, 2006:
You just caught one of the greatest pictures I've seen all along.
Congratulations!!!
Greetings from México.

A visitor from Denmark posted Sun May 28, 2006:
Really nice shot.
But I didnt now, that this plane was in action yet.
When was the first day?
I'm from Denmark

Can't wait to take SIA new A380 in December!! If I am not wrong...their first designation will be Spore-London

A visitor from - posted Wed May 24, 2006:
They will never sell as many A380's as they did 747's or 777's.

A visitor from United States posted Sun May 21, 2006:
I think it looks elegant in this shot, especialy in SIA colours

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat May 20, 2006:
Great composition. As for beauty - IMO Boeing aircrafts are much more elegant than Airbuses.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat May 20, 2006:
I'd love to fly one of those beasts!

A visitor from United States posted Sat May 20, 2006:
One American who thinks the A380 looks great, especially in the SIA livery. Aviation makes another advance and we all move forward.

A visitor from - posted Fri May 19, 2006:
I love how every time the A380 comes up and an American says they don't like it, Euros fire back and say we are jealous. Give me a break. The 747 has been the king of the sky for 40+ years, and now it's your turn to have a giant bird to carry pax. Good for you. But shut up about the jealousy thing... it makes you all look childish.

A visitor from Spain posted Thu May 18, 2006:
This is the prettiest plane I have never seen. I love this plane. I would like to see one on Iberia livery.

Congrats for this shot. It was took at the right moment. And as yankees are jealous of our A-380, I have to say I like too their Boeing 777. ;-)

A visitor from United States posted Thu May 18, 2006:
Notice that the 8th window back from the second door is orange? Is that part of the paint or are the backsides of the window shades orange? The second window appears to have a shade closed, but it is white.

Anyway, magnificent aircraft! From certain angles, this plane can appear to be quite bubbly and ugly, short and fat, but some of the inflight shots and angles showing a more head on view with it make this plane look amazing.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu May 18, 2006:
Well, the A380 isn´t my favourite. the 747 looks more sexy *lol*. I don´t wanna think about a second Tnerife with two full A380...
on the weekend I´ll visit the ILA in EDDB and listen to the incredible sound of those huuge engines.

A visitor from Costa Rica posted Wed May 17, 2006:
I have noted that all negative notes about A-380 comes from U.S. citizens. Don't understand why they allways think that only "Made in U.S.A." things are good. A-380 is more beautiful that B-747

A visitor from United States posted Wed May 17, 2006:
This picture makes the A380 look really fat and stumpy.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed May 17, 2006:
You have to admit, the A380 is the ugliest aircraft ever build. But it's still nice, to see it fly!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed May 17, 2006:
Good phot and great contrast

A visitor from - posted Wed May 17, 2006:
A hard contrast to make between ships considering the distance and altitude and the fact that the A380 is obviously a completely different type of plane. No comparison. However, even though I still don't find the A380 attractive I give props for making such a massive commercial plane and look forward to seeing her in MIA. Unfortunately, the SQ scheme looks terrible on her and the plane in general looks stubby... I will hope LH's livery looks better!

Brilliant image,awesome aircraft

A visitor from Germany posted Wed May 17, 2006:
It's not only fatter and ugglier than the T7, it's a whole lot uglier than any A/C I've seen in a long time.

A visitor from Hong Kong posted Wed May 17, 2006:
Incredible.

A visitor from Spain posted Wed May 17, 2006:

Why does everybody think the A380 is ugly

beutiful shot

A visitor from Canada posted Wed May 17, 2006:
This is a geat shot, really does show her incredible size here. Very nice touch with the 777 climbing in the background. Also very much like the fluffy clouds!

A visitor from United States posted Wed May 17, 2006:
I must say that the current Singapore livery looks very subpar on the 380. Singapore really needs to apply a special design for just that aircraft. Nice static shot though.

A visitor from United States posted Wed May 17, 2006:
Wow, I love that 777.

A visitor from Canada posted Wed May 17, 2006:
A+++
just super! love it!

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed May 17, 2006:
For me it is not ugly. Every airport has to have a special area for this awesome plane. T.B.

A visitor from - posted Wed May 17, 2006:
She in service yet or still testing? Nice shot. Thanks!

A visitor from United States posted Wed May 17, 2006:

I think your picture is average.it was okay, but i did like the way you captured this photo with the b777-200 in the background.
