NL51JB / 473029/B7-E (cn 122-39488) As someone told me that I should not leave the airshow without seeing the Heritage Flight, now I understand why. Fabulous four generation fighters are flying over the Joint House Open House 2006 at Camp Springs. 1944 built P-51D completed with the invasion stripe showing us a significant Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 sound is leading her successors QF-4E Phantom II (74-1652), F-15E Strike Eagle (89-0495), and the latest F/A-22A Raptor (03-4060). What a sight!

Great to see four generations of great fighters fly together!

The way the photographer was able to get the angle and grouping for the shot was awesome, plus the great pilots being able to hold the formation with such diverse aircraft. One Awesome Pic.

As previously stated by another, this photo is certainly deserving of five stars!! All four generations are stunningly shown in all their glory, and you've done them fine justice! Well done!!

This photo rates five stars strictly on the merits of the subject. What could make an airplane buff, especially a military enthusiast prouder, than to see these great, legendary warbirds flying as one.
Plus, the photography was phenominal, with the angle of the banking of the aircraft, and the lighting affects.
Great work, just great.

Splendid shot of history past & present.Nostalgic and emotional.Testimony to all the aviation heroes,in the air and on the ground, and the ones who love and still mourn their passing.
