I hope that this case will end like LTU : the public didn't like the new c/s and they bring back the old one!

A visitor from Spain posted Tue August 22, 2006:
Yes, we all agree that its a pitty that the bare metal will be gone...but there is a reason why this happened:
Aeromexico has bought 787's and since they are not made of Aluminum they can't have the bare metal finish, hence they have to paint the whole fleet.
Another reason is that the bare metal is more expensive to maintain than the new paint applied on the new c/s. This paint will last at least 10 years before it needs a new paint job.
Yes, as a mexican and an AeroMexico lover, I agree that they could have made up a nicer c/s...not so alike LAN's current one at least.
Oh well, its not THAT bad after all ;)
greetings to all.

Noooooooooooooooo... bring back the bare metal!

A visitor from Romania posted Fri August 11, 2006:
Great picture...wow!

A visitor from Uruguay posted Thu August 10, 2006:
It looks good. I like it. T.B.

A visitor from United States posted Wed August 9, 2006:
Nice colors. However, from a financial point of view the bare metal livery made more sense.

A visitor from United States posted Mon August 7, 2006:
Aeromexico's design team should be ashamed for trying to copy UPS or LAN Airline's look!!!

A visitor from Chile posted Mon August 7, 2006:
Pretty like LAN's livery

A visitor from United States posted Sun August 6, 2006:
Nice photo, but shame on Aero Mexico for trading in their awesome colors and polished aluminum for this bland LAN application!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun August 6, 2006:
It's OK I guess. Not stunning like the current scheme though.

A visitor from Germany posted Sat August 5, 2006:
Compared to the old livery, this one looks realy boring and ugly.

A visitor from United States posted Sat August 5, 2006:
Good pic but I hate their new colors yuck!

A visitor from United States posted Sat August 5, 2006:
The photo is good, but what an ugly livery! the bare metal looked great....sure, this is all because of the 787, but for that they could use metalic paint like Virgin Atlantic uses.....

A visitor from United Arab Emirates posted Fri August 4, 2006:
I certainly hope they dont paint their 777's like this, given that they look amazing with the shiny livery...

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu August 3, 2006:
Photo is very nice, but getting rid of a lovely bare metal fuselage, I smell composite planes on their way.

A visitor from Mexico posted Thu August 3, 2006:
Finally!! Beautiful new colors,I love it!

A visitor from Canada posted Thu August 3, 2006:
WHY? WHY? WHY? They should keep the bare metal, don't you think?

A visitor from United States posted Thu August 3, 2006:
It's not shiny enough! I do like the light blue line near the tail though.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu August 3, 2006:
The old colours were perfect! Why change into a plain white livery!

A visitor from Mexico posted Thu August 3, 2006:
I don't like this new scheme, Aeromexico's birds on natural "metal" is a reference point on the skyline to Mexico city.

A visitor from Brazil posted Thu August 3, 2006:
I love it!!!!!!

A visitor from Austria posted Thu August 3, 2006:
I still like the old ones more...

A visitor from Mexico posted Thu August 3, 2006:
No More Polished Skin, But It Looks Not Bad. I like It.

A visitor from United States posted Thu August 3, 2006:
I like the bare metal livery better. But this could grow on me. It looks very clean. Sort of reminds me of the new US Air livery for some reason.

A visitor from Costa Rica posted Thu August 3, 2006:
Nice picture. Nevertheless I prefer their previous scheme.

A visitor from United States posted Thu August 3, 2006:
The old colors are sooooo much better!!

A visitor from United States posted Thu August 3, 2006:
Great pic, but I deffinately like the old c/s better.

A visitor from United States posted Thu August 3, 2006:
I like this livery. Very simple yet smooth.

A visitor from Austria posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Sexy babe, beautiful colors

A visitor from United States posted Wed August 2, 2006:
I like the bare-metal livery better. Is Aeromexico trying to look now like LAN CHILE?

A visitor from United States posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Personally I think the Bare Metal Sceme looked better. Nice Picture by the way!

A visitor from Uruguay posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Looks so great! At last we have a very different livery! Muy bonito ( so pretty). :) T.B.

A visitor from Germany posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Nice new livery on this 73G. But to me it looks to similar to LAN´s livery.

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Nice new livery! Time for a change! g77 - APM

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Good picture but a shame to lose the chrome livery =(

A visitor from United States posted Wed August 2, 2006:
Wouldn't the old colors saved money with lighter weight and not as much money to have the old silver. This still looks amazing though!
