What a neat idea, your passengers get to see a little more scenery than what is just beside them, and the aircraft in front doesn't blast you directly so much.
I love this photo, it has so much to look at, love the red roof buildings in the back, and how the trees frame the front.

@how are You supposed to taxi at night: there are lights, plus there are floodlights, plus most of the night traffic is not allowed due to noise restrictions. It's really sad they shut down this beautiful and special airport!

In the google maps satellite photo of this airfield, you can see someone has written "HAPPY BDAY UTE 39" in the grass with a lawn mower near the east end of 27L.
