Aircraft Taken at More: Alitalia More: McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 More: Off-Airport - Villabate (Palermo) More: Italy, June 30, 1988 Remark Photographer I-DIKQ (cn 47227/334) 23 Dec 1978: At about 00:39 a.m. local time DC-9-32 I-DIKQ (named "Isola di Stromboli"), flight number AZA 4128, flying an extra-flight for the Christmas season from Rome Fiumicino to Palermo, crashed in the sea shortly before landing on runway 21 at Punta Raisi airport. I took this picture in an old car storehouse in Villabate (Palermo). Low quality picture depends on the fact that the original one is a 35mm colour slide. More: Max C. Contact Max C. Link to me!
