N113AR (cn 139) NY Yankee A-Rod's plane ran off RWY-8 a couple of hours ago. No one injured. It stopped in the EMAS that was put in place after Southwest flight 1455 crashed through the fence six years ago.

@ the schadenfreude comment: I share your feelings my friend, although I couldn't careless about sports! I do believe that sports superstars are way overrated and definitely not worthy of living such an extravagant lifestyle.

Regards from the home of The Padres! :)

Good condition of the nose gear after supporting such a big amount of energy.

An awesome shot!! Red Sox fan, don't forget that we Seattle Mariner fans kinda feel a bit of schadenfreude with this one, too, relating to the PAX. Nothing but pity for the G II.

Exact same thing happened a few months back to a F900 at KGMU. The falcon went far enough to have the mains in the emas as well. I watched it happen and it was pretty scary..the pilot said he was going about 70 knots when he hit it.
