Remark Photographer
EC-GXU (cn 49622/1498) Aircraft usually turn left when entering runway 23 but this pilot decided to backtrack for a full length departure which requires a right turn and then a 180o turn but he misjudged it and went off the taxiway resulting in the right undercarriage wheel sinking into the earth. The MD83 was stuck here for 2 and 1/2 hours causing aircraft to divert to other airports.
