Remark Photographer
While Naval Air Station Alameda is no longer active as of 1997, it is still home to some fun activities, such as filming of MythBusters episodes. Seen from NWA's A330 taking off from SFO with many San Francisco landmarks in the background. [ Nikon D90 + 18-200VR ]

This photo is great. It brings back many great memories seeing my old stomping grounds. Stationed here for the better part of four years and being in the tower buldings working the weather office during the 1989 earthquake. Too bad it was on the DOD chopping blocks, cheers!
