N961TW (cn 53611/2264) This MD-83 has quite an interesting history. Built in 1999 it first served with TWA which was then acquired by American in 2001. After that it was rebranded as an AA aircraft. On June 20, 2006 the aircraft was en route from LAX to ORD. The nose gear malfunctioned and the aircraft landed safely with the nose gear retracted. The aircraft was repaired and put back into service. She still looks good today sitting at the gate.

Way to take an ordinary plane and turn it into something awesome. Great Shot, it makes the AA livery special again

This shot really brings out the best in a handsome plane in a great livery. Nicely framed shot and gives the aircraft a real mean look, like it means business. 'T' tails are always special!
