Remark Photographer
G-EUNB (cn 4039) The interior of the exclusive BA London City Club World cabin featured on the Airbus A318. The cabin features 32 lie flat seat and is classy, functional and sophisticated with the use of browns and whites, also the blue lighting just below the overhead bins, a nice touch. A HUGE thanks to Tom and his Dad for sorting us out this visit to the babybus and to the fantastic BA staff and crew who really took to the time to detail to us the exclusive service they offer and were also very proud of flying this prestigious route.

Not that I would turn down a seat on this flight for my next trip to London, but am I the only one thinking this is a flying dormitory for investment bankers who haven't graduated to flying private? Sour grapes, I know, but just saying...

A visitor from United States posted Wed January 19, 2011:
BA didn't order the A319 because it can't use the short runway at London City Airport. The A318 is hardly cramped, the bins are just larger than those of the Concorde (which gives the cabin the illusion of being smaller). The A318 actually has a wider cabin cross section than both the Concorde AND the 737! Great job, BA.

It does not feel cramped at all when you are in the Cabin. I tried this service December 2009 and like it very much. For those based in Canary Wharf of the City of London (the two main Finance districts) this is a superb option to NYC. Arriving JFK as a domestic PAX is wonderful.

Fantastic shot my friend.
Cabin looks fantastic, and cant wait to try it some day soon

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 27, 2010:
Very nice! I've never seen an A-318 like this. And for the visitor from the Netherlands, that *is* plastic on the floor. The aircraft is parked at an air show, and the plastic is to protect the carpet underneath because of all of the foot traffic that an airplane like this will get during an air show. When the airplane goes into revenue service, the plastic is taken away and you have carpet.

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 27, 2010:
I love the angle of this shot! The seats look comfy, but would the person in the window seat feel a little cramped / would the flight attendant have a hard time serving food to that seat across the isle seat?

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue July 27, 2010:
That floor is covered in plastic. its carpet underneath. as for an ugly interior, it beats lufthansas first class product! it does look cramped, but it isnt in reality. it is very nice.

Wow!!! She is so gorgeous little baby bus, huh? IT is so tiniest babybus. Why can't have ordered A319LR aircraft?

A visitor from United States posted Mon July 26, 2010:
I visited this aircraft and the cabin is exceptional. Very spacious and comfortable. The carpet had a plastic covering on to protect it from the many visitors that day. It felt more like a private jet than a typical airliner. Well done, BA!

Finally a cabin view of a BA A318! I wanted to see what it looked like for ages! Great shot!

A visitor from Germany posted Mon July 26, 2010:
Have never seen such an ugly, cold interior!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon July 26, 2010:
Looks more cramped than Concorde.

I'm soooo jealous I wanted to go onboard this beauty. I like the lighting and the brand new LCY Club World. I would also be very proud to fly on the LCY-JFK route let alone fly the a/c. good Job *****

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon July 26, 2010:
Nice cabin, but I really do not like the floor cover.. Looks more like a plastic protection than a nice business class floor..

A visitor from Jordan posted Sun July 25, 2010:
Just another babybus and another route in the skies, not much special or exclusive about it. Just put down the bucks and you get the ticket.

But must say I do still find it a great move from BA to start it.
