Thank you for a wonderfully marvelous historic photo. The 307 is easily one of the most aesthetically pleasing piston / prop aircraft ever created.
And...the family resemblance to the Boeing Model 299 (aka the B-17) is clearly evident, especially in the wing and empennage.
