The Space shuttle undoubtedly ranks among the greatest achievements of humanity and is viable as a project (don't forget that the Russians built a working shuttle which laded on full automatic too). The direction to go should be improving the system, not canceling it!
A visitor from - posted Thu February 16, 2012: Wonderful photo Suresh. It's so upsetting to me why the Space Shuttle program was scrapped, because it was a very important part of our history, and also now we have to rely on the Russians to send our astronauts to the Space Station!
