A visitor from United States posted Sat March 17, 2012: In the northwest corner of the picture you can see roads leading from the housing area. Those are evacuation routes used during tsunami evacuations. The route leads right across runway 8/26. When an evacuation is ordered the gates are opened and people drive right across the runway. Very unique perspective.
