How is possible that an airline has the colours of BA, the flag of the US and the reg. number of France? What it means? Tks

To the Spanish visitor,
The colours of British Airways are the same because Openskies is one of their franchises. They were taken over by BA.
The registration is French because Openskies is actually a French airline. And I am not fully sure about the American flag. All I know is that Openskies operates to Newark and JFK form Paris.
