A visitor from - posted Fri February 13, 2009:I loved the friendly look of this winged chariot i flew so often. this photo captures it's personality, showing it's sleek lines, the winningly cute smile and the tip of it's funny black nose (did it wiggle?).
A visitor from United States posted Sat October 4, 2008:The photographer snapped the picture when the aircraft, which appears to be taxing, was perfectly framed. It was a tragedy that this airplane with its human payload ultimately met such a horrific fate. I visited the crash site shortly after the 09/25/1978 accident and was stunned by the devastation. Hopefully all that perished on that day are at peace in heaven.
A visitor from United States posted Sun September 28, 2008:I would have given this photo five stars, except that there are no perfect pictures. :-) However, this one comes pretty darn close! It is a beautiful airplane, and the composition is excellent, including the building in the background, the white paint stripe in the foreground just slightly off-center, and, whimsically, the banana-like fuselage of the Air West jet sticking its nose into the left side of the picture with what appears to be an L-1011 tail section directly above it in the far background. It is now several days after the 30th anniversary of the accident involving this Boeing 727.
A visitor from United States posted Tue August 19, 2008:A beautiful sunny and clear spring day, the best looking (for me!) airliner ever to fly...what's not to love about this photo! I am very prejudiced towards this shot because PSA is my favorite airline, this is their best livery, and the Boeing 727 is my all time favorite aircraft; I can't seem to choose between the -100 or -200! This shot also features background detail of the two other airliners, airport buildings, and ground equipment. I love photos like these. Despite the tragic demise of this airframe I still love this great photograph. R.I.P., N533PS...
A visitor from United States posted Thu April 27, 2006:It is a very beautiful plane with a very haunting ending.
