Remark Photographer
114076 (cn 1076) At the “Aérofête” in Mont-Laurier, close-up look at Snowbird 4 tail. Notice the two diffusers behind the engine exhaust. The white smoke trail produced a times during the show comes from diesel fuel stored in two tanks below the plane. On pilot command, the diesel flows to diffusers and the rear of the engine exhaust. It vaporizes and produces a white smoke under the intense heat from the engine outlet.
