General view of the new Nagoya - Chubu International airport still under construction. Like Kansai airport it is constructed off-shore on reclaimed land, with a railway and road bridge connecting it to the mainland. The airport is due to open next year 2005 along with two other aiports, Kobe and Kitakyushu, also built out at sea on reclaimed land.
