Aircraft Taken at More: USA - Navy More: Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet More: Virginia Beach - Oceana NAS / Apollo Soucek Field (NTU / KNTU) More: USA - Virginia, September 25, 2004 Remark Photographer 166611 / AA-320 (cn F104) The Super Hornet approaches the sound barrier. Due to the high humidity at Oceana the effect of the Prantl-Glauert cloud becomes clearly visible. This is a shockwave where the section with the clowd has low pressure, the above section is of high air pressure.
