HD-75 Built for the Belgian Air Force as HD-75, later registered as OO-APJ, G-AFDX and N75. The HD.1 biplane was rejected by the French Air Force, but was used widely by the Belgian and Italian Air Forces. The famous Belgian Willy Coppens used his HD.1 to great effect in WW1 - claiming 37 victories. He even landed on top of a German observation balloon, shut down the engine until his Hanriot slid off, then flew away and shot down the balloon.
