This plane really resembles it name. I would have never thought it opened from the front. I would have thought it would come open in two sections, like the space shuttle.

Clarity for foreground and detail of buildings and items in background. Interesting.

Sharply focused photo. Balanced, uncluttered composition. And see how the friendly, perceptive
Belugas have obligingly posed to show their best aspects--open & closed, headon & profile. This photo is exciting for us guys because it shows a kind of plane (the Beluga & the Guppy) with a shape like no other we've seen. Because men have an inborn high sensitivity to spacial relationships & subtle gradations in sculptural shapes, our imaginations are excited in regarding the wonderful design in some planes, cars, and boats, like the P-38 Lightning, the B-36, the steam locomotive and the Cord automobile.
And every one who sees this Beluga imagines how he would use it if he, like a John Travolta, could buy his own--a mobile jai lai court, a roving club house or a flying truck to deliver popcorn to the superbowl--don't box it, just blowpipe it in!

The photo was taken from a perfect angle showing in one picture what people look for in two different pictures
