F-WWOW (cn 001) This photo is taken from the very end of the main deck, the cabin looks very wide and spacious from the very end. Tanks and seats on each side. Looks like Airbus also carries some "very nice" cargo on the test flights. [Nikon D2x, Nikkor 10.5mm f2.8/G ED DX]

Nice photo! The A380 prototypes are the queeens of the skies from the outside, but it looks like they are an alien, inhospitable environment on the inside! I'm sure that will change when they install the gymnasiums, lounges, and luxury rooms on the new ones. Thanks for always going where no else does!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu December 8, 2005:
Tanks are carried to simulate passengers and seats payload. I think the A380 also carries its own spares parts, as Concorde did during world tour.

A visitor from United States posted Thu December 8, 2005:
It's like a flying ship. What's in those tanks anyhow? They look like milk cans!

A visitor from Romania posted Thu December 8, 2005:
I thought the interior would look more spacious...

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu December 8, 2005:
Good photo, shows you whats behind all the nice paneling on a normal aircraft. Looks like the cargo is Airbus's promotional stuff. I can see at least three cases of bollinger!

A visitor from France posted Thu December 8, 2005:
Main deck looks very wide. 11 boxes at least of Bollinger champagne, there surely would have been some nice celebration.. ;p

A visitor from Turkey posted Thu December 8, 2005:

Nice to see the inside of such an amazing airplane.

BTW: is the crew carrying its french wine everywhere they go? (look at the white cargo boxes) :-)

A visitor from Germany posted Wed December 7, 2005:
Yeah - cargo... take a close look at the white boxes: it says "BOLLINGER Champange" on them :) i wonder what else they have in there.
