For commentors below: The most interesting fact is that Yakovlev was taking part in both projects - M346 and L-15! The first was Yak-130, the M-346 is it's younger brother. And in L-15 Yakovlev was providing engineering consulting and some preliminary design. The main difference of L-15 is that it is supersonic with afterburner engines. To my opinion, it was not very clever from Yak side because these planes are competitors which grab part of Yak-130's market. | |
