The collection of aircraft in storage at Soekarno-Hatta ramp is pretty impressive! This includes at least four 747s with one being an ex-KLM plane. Of course, note also the plane on the foreground, which after flying the few previous years for JAT in full white livery has finally got some new paint on. First picture of this registration in A.net.

This picture captured the full length of the aircraft itself with great background setting of lots and lots of aircrafts parked on the ramp of Soekarno-Hatta Intl Airport. Really depicts how crowded the airport was/is. Considering the difficulty of positioning the angle of pictures to ba taken with limited access in airport areas, unless you have a special permit, I considered this picture as excellent! Great Job taking the right moment!
Unfortunately this is the aircraft that went missing during it's flight on 1st January 2007, as flight KI-574 from Surabaya to Manado, Indonesia. With a total loss of 6 crew member, 1 Engineer on board, and 95 Passenger. May God rest their souls. As one of the aircrew of Adam Air I would like to thank you for taking this picture so I can see the aircraft again and not forget my dearest fellows that were doing their duty in that flight. Salute!!
