The Shannon Emergency Services attend the scene following this morning's landing accident involving Aer Arann/Aer Lingus Regional ATR.72-212, EI-SLM,which was arriving from Manchester. Thankfully there have been no reports of serious injuries to passengers or crew.

Glad to see no one was hurt. Pilots were just doing their job. Yes well done to them but they *were* doing their job :)

Well done to pilot's and crew. A happy ending unlike the accident in Cork Airport last Feb. This aircraft was on it's second attempt to land in turbulent conditions. Just after touchdown the nose gear collapsed.

This particular aircraft was broken up and a section of the fuselage is actually in my college in Dublin for use of studying aircraft structures , i love it
