EI-SLM (cn 413) The Shannon Emergency Services attend the scene following this morning's landing accident involving Aer Arann/Aer Lingus Regional ATR.72-212, EI-SLM,which was arriving from Manchester. Thankfully there have been no reports of serious injuries to passengers or crew.

Well done to pilot's and crew. A happy ending unlike the accident in Cork Airport last Feb. This aircraft was on it's second attempt to land in turbulent conditions. Just after touchdown the nose gear collapsed.
