Remark Photographer
N1005C (cn 4557) Leased from Seaboard and Western for just over two years. Aerlinte Eirann were a subsidiary of Aer Lingus, to operate trans-atlantic schedule flights from Ireland to New York. This aircraft operated the last scheduled "Prop" service from New York to Ireland December 21/22, 1960 - the Boeing 720 jet had arrived. These airline titles were only used for a short time, and were replaced by "Irish Air Lines" in 1959 and "Irish International Airlines" in 1960.
