In the late '80s, Santo Domingo was the Connie capitol of the world, with Aerochago, AMSA and Aerolineas Argo all flying the type. Propliner fans flocked to SDQ, Miami or San Juan to see the last working examples in the world, and even maybe hitch a ride on one. The F.A.A. grounding of Dominican registered airplanes due to safety concerns in the early '90s put paid to all of that. Both of Aerochago's Supers can be seen laid up in this view taken on SDQ's cargo ramp.
