A visitor from - posted Sat October 22, 2011: I was the pilot flying this airplane in the rear seat. The Finland guy is totally right. The AH is off to save battery, the speed is 80 km/h, the best endurance speed for the Grob 103. Those who flew the Grob can describe this moment.
A visitor from United States posted Sun March 20, 2011: Pretty picture, but horizon shows sailplane to be in a left bank while the stick is in position for right bank. Artificial horizon shows level flight and airspeed indicator indicates the aircraft is stationary. I'm confused!?
A visitor from Finland posted Sat July 11, 2009: Some feel of flying in this pic.. hope some day I could merge the flying and photography like this, though lots of practice required in both.. For the comments bellow: The ADI is rarely used in gliders except when the idea is to fly up and in the clouds. That's to preserve battery, as you have no recharge during the flight. The airspeed indicator is probably indicating 80 km/h, not "top speed"; if you look closely, you see the indicator goes through corkscrew-like skale, for about 500 degrees around.
