That is where it is on the 767, but it can be found in many other places too on other aircraft types.

Great photo! I like this perspective a lot.
In regard to the first comment, you wouldn't be fined at all. If you're still dumb enough to smoke, you'll still be arrested and fined. I've been on flights where the captain turns off that sign instead of the seatbelt sign at the end of the flight by accident.

So that's where the control for the "no smoking" sign is! I wonder how much you would get fined if you turned it off.
