From what I have read, the plane was parked at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport for being sold off. Nobody was on board fortunately.
The Airport reported the fire was result of spontaneous combustion.

Spontaneous combustion? really? so sad to see how finished one of the most beautiful and safe planes in the world, agree with the Cyprus comment!

Great picture but since when do planes just spontaneously combust? One way or the other there was a cause. Either they are trying to cover up for someone doing something they shouldn't have been doing or rather than say that they don't know, they just come up with this reason to fill in a blank on an insurance form.
