What a rare catch, and definitely a ferry flight! Yikes if they had one of the remaining engines fail at V1!

Surely not commercial flight. I don't think AFLT can repair Tu154M engine at Warsaw and as technical flight (with no passengers) - you are allow to use two engines.

Aeroflot DOES NOT fly from Poland to Minsk. Due to engine fail it was decided to make a ferry flight from Poland to Minsk as a way to find engineering base for repair.

Nice photo!!! This definately a ferry flight to Minsk, propably becuase it's the closest location from Warsaw where that Tupolev's engine could be repaired/replaced. Also, Aeroflot commercial flight numbers are 3-digit.

Must have been kind of ferry flight. Arrived day before from DUS already with engine off and covered.

This is a marvelous photos of the Aeroflot Tupolev 164. Has to be my favorite airliner of all. I've made many flights across Russia in one between Moscow and southwestern Siberia (Barnaul).

Very cool and rare shot. But also pretty scary.I think being on board in a plane with one engine down, I would have filled my pants at the take-off ;)
