5Y-AXI (cn 18927/454) Originally Lufthansa's D-ABUD from 11.65 then with Air Zimbabwe (VP-/Z-WKV from 6.82 to 1991) and joined African Int'l 7.93. Still stored in this position near the Kenya Airways hangar at NBO. Note the Boeing 720 fuselage in KQ colours (5Y-BBX) behind which was used as a cabin trainer at the time, and the old Embakasi Airport buildings beyond that
