D-AHIC (cn 30617/812) Heavy thunderstorm takeoff: Check the weather radar when we were cleared for takeoff, it's all red!!! We departed with heaviest rain and the flashes guarded us from all sides up to FL300! Gladly not a single one hit us. An impressive ems fire started at about FL 120: networks of flashes covering all cockpit windows from the outside für some seconds. Not dangerous, but so impressive.
