B-2471 (cn 29071/1229) The most ununsual sunrise I have ever experienced. We are pumping out the fuel before making an emergency landing to Anchorage. On our flight from LAX to PEK, a passenger was sick and experienced a shock. In case of life threat of the passenger, the captain decided to divert to ANC. As you can see, we are holding above the bay near ANC when we pumping out the fuel. Well done, Air China! Many thanks to a.net photographer Jeffwell! [Canon 300D, EF-S 18-55 USM]

A visitor from Switzerland posted Mon December 5, 2005: Very nice shot. However, this is not an emergency landing, it is "only" an unscheduled landing. Only if crucial parts of the equipment fails and the PIC declares an emergency, you speak about an emergency landing.
