A maximum of 135 passengers could be transported by this aircraft. Air France operated it with 59 pax on the upper deck and 48 pax on the lower one.

How many passengers was it capable of handling?

Not the best looking aircraft in the world but it brings back memories of seeing them regularly at Heathrow

A very interesting machine and great photo. Slide Film and Civil aircraft, an unbeatable combo. As far as looks, I'd say the nose on this one is still "prettier" than on the A380 :)

If ever an aircraft earned the moniker BUFF it's this Sky Hog!

***** stars : so rare to see now a magnificent photo in flight of such a rare bird. The Breguet 763 "Deux-Ponts" ("double-decker") was known for her low ascending rate at MTOW : five kilometers from the runway, I saw one overflying me at a barely 100m height !

That plane is friggin ugly.

Looks just like she was captured yesterday, even if this bird supports the time-honoured adage that if it's ugly it's British, if it's wierd it's French, and if it's ugly and wierd it's Russian! But we love it anyway and what we wouldn't give to see one in the air again...
