A visitor from Netherlands posted Fri December 9, 2011: Actually a great shot, but it reminds me of a dreadful event that needs no explanation, I think. Well, let's try to supress it, since this shot was taken long before it.
A visitor from Canada posted Fri September 15, 2006: I joined AC as a DC8 S/O in the late '80s, and for me, this airplane captures the end of the "steam" era. Air travel has since lost its glamour and its mystique. Adding another canadian icon to the photo links two very important symbols. It's a nice shot.
