Air Canada 791 heavy is a hybrid wearing Eastern Air Lines colors & Air Canada titles landing runway 24R. Shared seasonly with Eastern Air Lines with whom she is serialed N312EA. First flight was November 18, 1972. Delivery date was December 13, 1972. Wears FN 501 with Air Canada. Sadly, W/O July 6, 2001 near LYS (Lyon FR) with Air Transat as C-FTNA routing LYS-SXF due to damage from hailstorm climbing thru FL190. Aircraft was deemed uneconomical to repair due to age, & is stored at LYS.
