B-2478 (cn 25075/868) As I arrived at LAX (14:00HRS) the low clouds and fog were hanging right at the end of the runway. (LAX borders the Pacific Ocean) Typically, as the afternoon wares on the marine layer will make its way back inland. But to my surprise it actually dissipated and cleared up. After an absence of almost 2 months it felt good to be back down at LAX. The smell of burgers cooking, people enjoying the atmosphere at the park. That's something all the money in the world can't buy. Here we see CAA1057 from ZSPD about to land on 24R. Local time is now 17:52PDT.

Oh man, I guess I know what you mean, Ive only been there once and I fell in love with L.A., though it is not considered to be beautiful in general. my mood turns sad, when I see photos like this and when I turn my head to the window and recognize the rain here at the same instant. best regards

Paul, another amazing shot! You sure know how to add the scenery surrounding LAX to your photos. Sure hope I see some of those blue skies in September! Andrew
