This photograph is clear, lighting is excellent, and the deplaning activity adds further interest. This airplane worked very hard during its life - I operated N731T as a flight purser during its sojourn with KTHY - Cyprus Turkish Airlines - in the late 1970s. An original Braniff aircraft, N731T flew safely for over 20 years, before being broken up at Bournemouth-Hurn, in 1982. It brought us through many difficulties and storms. I only wish it could have earned the distinction of being in a museum at last. But it will never be forgotten.
Beautiful, thoughtful, photograph.
Thank you.

Bob,

Hello again - it's Nuala.
I contacted you earlier about this photograph.
I flew in N731T during the late seventies for Cyprus Turkish Airlines. At that time, we named the aircraft Yavru Vatan (Young Country). We flew her for almost three years. She was a great aircraft. Watch Airways magazine (July or August issues - possibly) - for a story about N731T and the time we flew one-day-old chicks (over 5,000 of them) in her cabin from Istanbul to Ercan.
Best wishes,
Nuala
