Yes, it is a recent picture. She was displayed a few days later for LTS Hall D inauguration (March 5, 6 2010) where it was possible to walk through this magnificent bird.

Yeah it's too recent. I've eard something about a project to fly again with a Concorde during Le Bourget international meeting. Hope that's right and F-BTSD take off again... But about Fox Char, sometimes a local association make some roll out at Blagnac.

Unless in the last 6 months something has changed, this plane is out of service. Note the battered engine covers. This is a recent picture (note the date), and again unless something has changed in the last six months or so, I would imagine that this is on its way from one display point to another. Please correct me if I am wrong.

A 21st century beauty from the middle of the 20th century. Concorde - an aircraft ahead of its time!!!She looks just as good on the ground as in the air!!

For your information, this beautiful beast was put on the tarmac beacause of a "open doors" operation at Toulouse Airport...Of course it didn't fly !

I simply could not believe the thumbnail. My childhood's most vivid memory: "Phasing out the Concorde"... Oh, gosh. You made my cry!

I did some reading on the Concord, and the one pictured in this photo is being maintained by volunteers in near flyable condition. As of February 2010, it is being restored so that it will be able to taxi!

It's such a c*ck tease to see this aircraft being towed around the airport at Toulouse.

For those talking about a possible flight and things like that, the only Concorde that has a chance of taxiing around the runway is F-BTSD at Le Bourget and even that's an extreme longshot since people are making premature announcements of something that will take a lot of money and work.

The more "classical" AF bird is some 30 years younger than the empty hull in the foreground.

Even Chuck Yeager would say: Now that's the aerodynamically perfect design, can't be better !!!
