However we can see them here as small silver dots beneath the air france-klm logo. they look like forward facing hooks.

A visitor from Australia posted Thu October 29, 2009:
The pitot tubes are usually on the right hand side of the cockpit, near the first officers feet would be inside. RIP all onboard

A visitor from Italy posted Thu October 29, 2009:
The pitot tubes can be seen under the sign "air france - klm", under the last cockpit window. beautiful shot, 5/5

A visitor from France posted Mon September 28, 2009:
This is a precious historical document. Many thanks to the photographer. Could anyone explain if the Pitot tubes are visible, and if so, where exactly?

A visitor from United States posted Sat August 29, 2009:
How sad to know that in less than 24 hours, this plane would be lost in the Atlantic while returning from Brazil! May the 228 lives lost rest in peace!

A visitor from - posted Wed August 19, 2009:
Such a beauty.

A visitor from - posted Sat July 11, 2009:
Too bad: This a/c will in a few hours safely goes to Brazil, and after another few others, it safely leaves for her home base, but in the middle...228 lives were lost. Time is really too fast.

A visitor from Belgium posted Thu July 9, 2009:
What a coincidence that one got a shot of the aircraft on its last day. My thoughts are with the families of the deceased. Let us now hope that the investigation will give us more insight over what caused this tragedy and hence make air travel even safer than it is.

A visitor from Macedonia, The Former Yugoslav Republic Of posted Tue July 7, 2009:
Such a sad story,
Rest in Peace for all of them.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon July 6, 2009:

RIP to all the people on the AF447

A visitor from Czech Republic posted Fri July 3, 2009:
How to get to the CDG to Brazil and back for 1 day?

A visitor from - posted Sun June 28, 2009:
Good close-up of the arriving plane in its final hours. Too bad just many hours later it's gone with the 228 people she's carrying all dead. RIP and God bless

A visitor from Japan posted Fri June 26, 2009:
Tragic ending for this aircraft. Who would ever knew that on the next day it would break up mid air...

Good clarity but RIP to all those on Air France 447. Our hearts are with you

A visitor from - posted Thu June 18, 2009:
What a great photo, but a sad last sight, is weird that this shot is the last one for that plane, who will know that hours later, it will be destroyed.
Thank you.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu June 18, 2009:
Hmmm, looking closely those marks on the tail section run quite deep below the outer skin of the plane. If you look closely you can see the green of the composite materials. Rest in peace.

A visitor from United States posted Thu June 18, 2009:
Great angle and perspective, captured entirety of the plane.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu June 18, 2009:
An amazing image of a beautiful piece of machinery, RIP.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Thu June 18, 2009:
I always wonder why everyone cuts off the wings of the airplane?

I think it would make it much nicer

A visitor from Brazil posted Tue June 16, 2009:
Congratulations for this historical shot. Going to the airports, every, we can made pictures like this. You were in the right place at the right time.

RIP to all those on board her ill faited flight

A visitor from - posted Mon June 15, 2009:
What a close up! AF should see whether those tear marks in tail and near the nose had anything to do with the accident. Rest is Peace.

A visitor from - posted Mon June 15, 2009:
Amazing photo, sad to see the plane never landed back at CDG

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon June 15, 2009:
This pic is very cleary. Would like to turn off the time on that day! RIP to them whos lost their lives. Dose Air France only had one A330-200?

A visitor from - posted Mon June 15, 2009:
Sad destiny for this beauty and souls on board. R.I.P.

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 15, 2009:
Wow! Incredibly sad to think that 24 hours later she's gone with such tragic loss of life. I'd have to guess that some experts at Airbus / BEA / NTSB would be interested in examining this photo in detail. R.I.P. to the 228 SOB. My prayers for the families left behind to mourne their loss. Bob.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 15, 2009:
