After waiting for 5 hours for a plane that wouldn't come , we were about to leave. When suddendly we saw a A340 shape outlined in the horizon after his long journey over the Atlantic. He glanced through and blew the beach in the last rays of light and the night covered the friendly island. Anthony Guerra and Adrien Daste, were dreaming!

Outstanding pic! The waiting was surely worth - I haven't seen a pic from SXM with such a beautiful lightning. The sky full of different colors, reflection of the sun on water, sand, the sun itself peeking out few clouds in the background, and finally this majestic bird - oh my God, hell of a composition! 5 stars is not even close to enough!

At last! A Philipsburg/St Maarten photo that is different to the 3 pictures that are repeatedly taken. Dramatic sunset lighting and looking out to sea makes all the difference.

Awesome shot! You'd really have to be brave to not go running to the side when one of those giant birds comes sailing in!

My first thought, SXM Air france delayed. But you got a rare opportunity and took full advantage of the evening light. Congratulation.
