I like the way the Airbus looks so close to the beach. Makes me feel like the plane will hit these people, eventually.

I have to go to the Netherlands Antilles, for two reasons, and one are these incredible approaches into the airport, Its a great picture in that you can literally almost touch it

Look at all those happy people...Is it possible that the happiness has anything to do with this fine aircraft?

Found this great site by accident. While looking through some of the photos, I came across this one where I recognise one of the guys in the Shot! What were the chances of that happening? a million to one? That's why I've awarded 5 stars.

I've been to St. Maarten several times, it's an amazing island and the approach to the runway is just as amazing. For a first time visitor it could be heart stopping moment. I just love this picture.

The passengers should have considered they were landing on the beach but not on the runway

Nice shot. Its these kinds of pictures that always remind me of the Netherlands Supreme Court's jetblast judgement of a few years ago on airport liability for jetblast injuries sustained at Juliana. Its a warning to all spotters; don't stand to close to those gates when a plane like that A340 is about to take off.
