A visitor from Canada posted Fri January 13, 2006: I have been there. I was at the beach an a 747 flew over. It almost sent me back to the sea. Then I received the jet from the turbines and we had light burns from the sand and heat. There are warning signs, but is all.

You can see the rest of the beach and the whole area around it, although it does make the aircraft look a bit small, especially for an A340!

A visitor from Indonesia posted Sun November 27, 2005: The airplane is got to be less than 50ft from the ground in which that is a non normal landing procedure. The low height makes it look like it's gonna land short of the runway. Look at all those people, can you imagine an airplane with an extremely loud jet engine noise flying so close to the people and no one bother to cover up their ears and the only reason is because they're just too amazed and cant't believed what they're seeing.
