Can the two seats recline in front of the exit doors?

A visitor from Brazil posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There's no television because behind of these seats there's an emergency exit hall.

A visitor from Czech Republic posted Mon March 29, 2010:
It looks as there is an aisle to the exit and the screens for those sitting there come out of the armrests.

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There are, theyre just in the armrests because they are exit row seats with extra legroom making it harder to reach the handset and harder to see because there are a lot of people who walk in front of these seats

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There are TVs, there just in the arm rest and not on the head rest. Im not sure why.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
The man sitting in that row seems to have a TV coming out of his armrest and theres an exit there so I guess theres a bigger gap between the rows than it looks.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
I'm guessing because it's an exit row and so too far away from the row in front, so the seats have pop out screens built into the armrests... look for the Word Sortie / Exit above their heads.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Thats because its an emergency exit seat, you know the ones with extra legroom and therefore the TV's come out of the arm-rests :)

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Great pic, because it's an exit row and the tv's are on the armrest. :) great plane!!

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
If you take a closer look, the guy on that row does not have a laptop, its actually the tv but it comes out from the side. The distance is greater on that row so it makes it hard to see the screen. It's probally a emergency seat aisle.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
They have their tv coming out of the arm rest if you look closely

A visitor from Germany posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There are but there in the armrest;not the ptv next to the guys head

A visitor from South Africa posted Mon March 29, 2010:
It is an exit row, if you look you will see the fold out PTV in the row behind

A visitor from Germany posted Mon March 29, 2010:
The row without the TVs is an exit row crossing the cabin. The displays for these seats are in the armrests.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Lovely cabin! there are no tv's as it is where the 4 abreast centre cabin becomes just 3, so tv's are in the armrest.:)

A visitor from France posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Look at the man behind, at his seat there is a screen ..

Nice pic by the way

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Its an exit row they have personal TVs that come out of the arm rests.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
The monitors are in the left armrest of the seats, like you can see at the left seat.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Looks like an exit row, screens come out of the armrests though.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon March 29, 2010:
They are in the armrests but why thats is, i have no idea. There's no overhead storage either. I'd guess it's got something to do with the emergency exit.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Nice view.

As this is an exit row, the screen are in the armrests, the distance between the seats is to great to comfortably use the seatback screens.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
I'd like to take place there, seems to be comfortably! Nice shot of one of the areas you don't now at the moment, but you will see about it over the next centuries!

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
As I can see the PTV are part of the seats in that row...

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Exit row; you can see the fold-out monitor in the man's seat at the left side of the 4-block. Also, the overhead bins do not continue over the exit row.

A visitor from Finland posted Mon March 29, 2010:
That seems to be an exit row, and TV screens are in the armrests.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Im pretty sure it's because it's the emergency exit row?

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
That one row is a bit to far from the passanger so they just placed PTV's in the seats' compartment so that they can watch their movies with out straining their eyes to much.

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
I think because it is an exit row. If you notice the video units are in the arm rests.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Great photo, the TV's are not on the seatback but below as you can see on the very left of that row

A visitor from Germany posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Hmm, you can see one television on the left aisle seat, it's a bit lower than the others...
But I also don't know why!

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
It's because there is a gap in the rows. If you look carefully you can see the mans personal tv comes out of the armrest. excellent picture, not enough cabin shots of AF.

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
The row of seats w/ out IFE is just in front of an exit row. The IFE is in the armrest. Look near the elbow of the man in the blue shirt.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
They do, you just gotta look carefully.

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
They do have televisions, if you look closely, there the one's you can pull out from the side.

A visitor from India posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Great photo. Excellent clarity and sharpness.

To the first poster - the row with no seat-back PTVs is an exit row with extra legroom. The PTVs are built into the armrest. If you look carefully, you can see part of the PTV on the leftmost seat in that row.

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
The row without televisions is an exit row with more distance from the seats in front. If you look at the gentleman in the left seat, you'll see his video display in the left armrest.

A visitor from United States posted Mon March 29, 2010:
I like the subtle lighting captured on camera. re the televisions---looks like exit row seating; extended leg room so back-of-char monitors would be too far away. You'll notice an armrest fold-out screen... one would assume all seats in that row have the fold-outs.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
They are in the arm rests - that is an emergency exit row.

A visitor from France posted Mon March 29, 2010:
It's an exit row, TVs and traytables are in the armrest

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
If you look closely the TVs are actually built into the armrests as there seems to be about 5ft between the two rows of seats there.

A visitor from Norway posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There are tellies on the armrest

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There are no TV's in the back row of seats, as they are the last row before the gap for the cross aisle exit. So, the seats which are behind those last row seats have the TV's on an arm in the arm rest, which you can see slightly by the man with the blue shirt... that is his TV just beside him.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
The t'v are on the seat themselves, similar to those that you usually see in the business class section.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
To the visitor from the USA,

the PTVs are in the armrest in that row.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
That's because the row behind it is an exit row and has armrest televisions

A visitor from France posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Exit row, PTVs are in the armrest...

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Thats an exit row, that row has inseat televisions. I hate air france A380 design, for being such a new aircraft you would think they would like to show off there product - it looks so bold, square and cramped .. as for emirates etc

A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010:
Probably because it's an emergency exit row?

A visitor from Singapore posted Mon March 29, 2010:
There is a passageway between those seats i think.but as you can see there is a screen on the arm-rest of the gentleman's seat. cheers.

A visitor from United States posted Sun March 28, 2010:
I can see that the row does have Tv's, but in the armrest rather than on the seatback.

This cabin looks amazing...

A visitor from United States posted Sun March 28, 2010:
It's because those seats are in the exit row. Putting a TV screen on those seats would make them too far away for comfortable viewing. The screens are in the armrest, which you can see on the left hand seat.

A visitor from United States posted Sun March 28, 2010:
Now why aren't there televisions on that one row of seats?
